The Jazz & Poetry Choir Collective
uses poetry and free jazz (otherwise known as Social Music) to highlight the struggles and achievements of underrepresented people and the shared environments in which we live. Through collaboration and improvisation, the Jazz & Poetry Choir Collective uses its art to celebrate this planet so vital to our existence; to bring to the forefront and pull from the shadows all of our lives that have been lost in political and racial unrest, and to add a voice
of concern for all.
